50. The seats or bench seats shall be adequate, securely fixed and, when they are adjustable, they shall be movable and lock in the chosen position. The cushions and the backrests shall be securely fixed and the headrests, if included in the original equipment, shall be present and adequate. The seat cushion upholstery of a bus, minibus or motor coach shall not be torn over a length of more than 75 mm, an area of more than 6,400 mm2 or a depth of more than 6.5 mm.
